How does a story start?

A story never starts, “Twice Upon a Time …” or “Thrice Upon a Time.”

It is only ‘Once’ the lesson is learned, that now we have a story.

AND

Once the lesson is learned, you will never travel that path again.

You can’t unknow what you know.

So …

In the quest of living our own hero’s journey we come full circle. And yet, we are not back to where we started. We have moved forward to start a new story.

Ann is an author and artist. She's lived and worked in Korea, England and Germany as a counselor, college instructor and director of a family support center. Her master’s degree from Boston University encompassed studies at the University of Cambridge. Ann’s Flash History Biography series has reached international shores and covers: Eleanor Roosevelt ~ Unleashed, Golda Meir ~ True Grit, and Marie Curie ~ A Nobel Life. Ann lives in northern California enjoying her life with her adult children. She is currently working on her next book "Making Life Meaningful".

    Profound and thought-provoking. It made me think about how much more I can accomplish. I “once” thought that turning 70 was the beginning of the end. I, now, ask myself, “Where do I want to go from here?”
